Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is a vibrant and growing for purpose organisation supporting children and families across the Sydney Archdiocese. We have 65 Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services and 8 childcare centres, with 5 more opening in 2027. We deliver high quality education and care in partnership with families and schools.

 

Job Description

We are a looking for a creative and passionate Digital Marketing Officer to join the Head Office team to bring our story to life and support the growth of our services.

About the role

As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in shaping how families discover and engage with SCECS. Through impactful digital campaigns, engaging content and local area marketing initiatives, you will help drive enrolments, strengthen our brand and support service sustainability.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Stakeholder Relations you will combine strategic thinking with hands on activation as you collaborate with our Regional Operation Officers, Centre Directors and OSHC Coordinators.

 

What you will be doing

  • Plan, activate and analyse digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Develop lead generation strategies to drive enrolments and deliver utilisation targets for each Childcare Centre.
  • Manage SCECS social media plan, delivering engaging content that differentiates SCECS through our purpose, brand positioning and values
  • Content creation and ideation, blending storytelling with a data driven strategy to create a cohesive brand experience across multiple digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage and optimise SCECS website user experience, ensuring content is accurate and conversion focused
  • Launch new childcare centres with targeted local area marketing and community engagement initiatives including the creation of promotional materials.
  • Continually analysing campaign performance, identifying actionable insights
  • Project management of events; Open Days and school community activations
  • Briefing external suppliers; graphic designer, photographer, videographer, promotional suppliers

 

You will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Media or related discipline
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation and campaign delivery through working in a marketing department or media agency
  • Experience activating and analysing lead generation strategies with actionable insights
  • Strong skills across WordPress, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn and other social media management tools
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across teams

Experience in the education or childcare sector is highly regarded.
