Job Description

We are now hiring for an OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St. Andrews Catholic Primary school, Malabar.

This is a permanent part-time position term-time only (66 hours per fortnight) Monday to Friday.

- 5 Split shifts 

- 3 hours admin time with Coordinator outside of operational hours 

- Start immediately!

  • The Role

As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the Responsible Person for the service
  • Ensuring a safe and inclusive OSHC service for staff and children
  • Managing children’s attendance and bookings to maintain supervision and safety
  • Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs
  • Building strong relationships with families and the school community
  • Sharing children’s experiences and achievements with families

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  •  A qualification (or be working towards one) in Early Childhood Education and Care
  •  Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
  •  A valid NSW Working with Children Check
  •  A child protection training certificate
  •  A First Aid Certificate
